About this deal

honestly tho, the real villains of this whole story, if not the entire series, is actually the eloise’s parents…the way they treat eloise is horrific. they take the hotel away from her because she got too emotionally attached to an employee and somehow it was her fault she got sued over it

despite eloise knowing this kid wasn’t the right fit, she felt like she couldn’t fire him before he went all psycho killer because her mom would use it against her. then by the end of the story, all is forgiven just because they finally give her the hotel and make her the owner. THEY NEVER EVEN SAID CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR MARRIAGE OR APOLOGIZED FOR HOW THEY TREATED HER?!Oh, Jasper Vale. I inevitably always fall for Devney Perry’s heroes, but it’s always the grumpy ones that make me fall the hardest, and Jasper Vale owned my heart! He has had a difficult past and is closed off because of it, so watching this big tough guy start to open up to Eloise, fall under her spell, and allow himself to actually feel something for her is absolutely gorgeous!

This is the fourth book in The Edens series, but like the earlier books, it can be read as a standalone. This is Eloise Eden’s story. She manages the family hotel in the small town of Quincy, Montana, and it’s her dream to one day take over ownership from her parents. A badly managed situation in the past left them hesitant to hand it over to her, and she’s been working hard ever since to prove herself as reliable and responsible. But that plan hits a snag when a trip to Las Vegas ends with a drunken wedding to Jasper Vale they make her feel like every screw up will make her lose the hotel, which is why she hid the circumstances of her marriage with jasper. her mother even forced her to hire a psycho child, who wasn’t qualified in the first place, who then tried to kill her As much as I didn’t want to see the end of this book, (despite my non stop reading in an effort to find out what was going to happen - which of course means reaching the end of the book) I’m antsy to find out what is in store for Griffin’s siblings. Along with an amazing epilogue and the link for a bonus epilogue, the ending gave us a delicious tease of an introduction for Knox and Memphis! i’ve been so excited for eloise’s book ever since we first met her, and i loved getting to learn more about her and watch her fall in love 💕 she is so selfless and kind, and truly hilarious. i just loved her so much. From Wall Street Journal best-selling author Devney Perry comes a small town, fake relationship romance.i really had the highest expectations for jasper’s book cause i thought he was so spicy in garnet flats but he fell well… flat FromWall Street Journalbestselling author Devney Perry comes a small town, fake relationship romance . Every time she mentioned that Griffin had a cowboy belt, boots and hat and ran a farm, this is all I could see: There is no specific age when you should start reading novels. Some children develop an interest in reading at a young age, while others may not discover a love for reading until later in life. It is important to encourage children to read at a young age to promote literacy and cognitive development, but it is also never too late to start reading novels as an adult.

It should have felt different, seeing her again after all this time. How many years had I spent fixated on that woman? How many hours had I dwelled on the past? Countless. Every one of them pointless.

I appreciated how strong she was and how she wasn’t needy with Griffin. Living Room Ideas Read now if you’re looking for living room décor ideas for a more natural and modern aesthetic! So, as I said, Indigo Ridge is the first installment in Devney Perry’s new series called The Edens and, as you can imagine, is focused on the stories about the Eden siblings. This one starts with Griffin Eden’s story, the oldest sibling in the family. Griffin is the ranch manager, the brother who is always taking care of his siblings and a man not willing to compromise with any woman. Enter Winslow Covington. She is the new chief of police in Quincy, she is trying to fit in, and she happens to share a one-night stand with Griffin that is impossible to forget. These two fight against their continuous chemistry but it’s not that easy. Especially when they are forced to work together in a heartbreaking murder case.

INDIGO RIDGE' 📚 is the first full length small town romance book in the series 'The Edens', by Devney Perry. Spoken in 'Dual Perspectives.' I'd get instantly dry. My aversion to cowboys aside.. Griffin actually won me over by the end of this, I just had to picture him in jeans and a normal t-shirt, remove the cowboy hat and boots and we were SETTLED, cause this man has got a mouth on him.

Winslow was the type of heroine I enjoy. Tough when needed but not so hard core I couldn’t relate to her. She was carrying emotional scars that were, literally, a nightmare. My heart was broken by her struggle but once I learned the full story, I was horrified as well. Brief Summary of the Storyline: This is Winslow and Griffin’s story. Winslow is the new police chief in town and doesn’t realize that her ONS the first night is connected to the most influential family and not the tourist she assumed he was. Griffin thought Winslow was just someone passing through and didn’t want to have the strings that come along with a local. Neither of them want a relationship, so they settle for a casual fling. Winslow has a gut feeling that the string of suicides in the town aren’t what everyone is telling her they are, and she starts digging despite being considered an outsider and meeting opposition. There are some suspenseful scenes, some sexy times, and some big secrets revealed…and they get a HEA ending. the premise was so good. i love fake marriage/marriage of convenience but the execution was not there. i truly did not care about jaspers ex & the phone calls between them were So weird. it genuinely made me so uncomfortable. like we spend 50-60% hearing about this ex, and really the whole reason they stayed married was because of her, and it got handled in one tiny scene? like it made no sense. it felt like this huge build up with absolutely no pay off. I have been so excited about Eloise’s story, as she’s definitely so underestimated in previous books - by her family, not me! We know very little about Jasper but this book starts off perfectly to introduce his character and how we come to his and Eloise’s marriage if convenience.
