It will target neighbourhood crime, VAWG (Violence Against Women and Girls) and ASB (anti-social behaviour). This beautiful garden near the city centre and fort is a true haven for nature lovers and families seeking a tranquil outing. Today, its remains house some interesting history, including being used as a place of hospitality for pilgrims during the Reformation.

These Gardens are located at a 5min walking distance from the Cantebury West Railway station, right next to the West Gate.Make sure you look up at the beautiful architecture and weave in and out of cafés, pubs and restaurants. Head over St Radigund’s Road into Mill Lane, right into King Street, left into Orange Street, which comes out into Sun Street a few yards from the archway of Christ Church Gate.

BID projects are focussed on making Canterbury a vibrant, exciting, well connected and successful business community, and an attractive, clean, green, safe, enjoyable destination for everyone.Quick note, there are no toilets in the Cathedral but they have a very clean washroom in separate building just 3 minutes from the entrance. Lisa Carlson, Chief Executive of Canterbury BID, added: “Cleaning has always been a high priority for Canterbury city centre businesses, which is why Canterbury BID has invested in a cleaning machine that allows our team to complement the work of Canenco with emergency spot cleaning. Whether you are a history buff, a religious pilgrim, or simply a lover of architecture and beauty, Canterbury Cathedral is an absolute must-see destination. You'd think with an event on which must've cost the bride and groom thousand's they would check them more. Very comfortable chair, nice hearing and the most important thing for foreign people, there is an screen for transcripts what they are singing or talking.

The scheme operates on designated nights during term time and Welcome Weeks when the students’ unions of both Kent and Christ Church run events at The Venue and Club Chemistry.

Brilliant museum, lots of exhibitions, I enjoyed the Smallfilms gallery that housed the actual puppets for Bagpuss, The Clangers, Noggin the Nog. The ruins are a really cool piece of history and nice to walk around and explore as much as is allowed.

We love this restaurant anyway but was so pleased that we chose this restaurant for our Christmas Day lunch. Undaunted, take this road for 300 yards where, just after the next roundabout, take a footpath to the left and walk along the bank of the eastern fork of the Great Stour.Every staff member has treated me so amazingly, even helping me to my door with food, and it's so close to everything I want to see in Canterbury. The closest thing to a butchery is a restaurant that shows different cuts of beef on a tile wall, the cow head on a building in the lane, and another restaurant that claims to provide fine and proper hamburgers, whatever they are. I went with the family and there was a lot to enjoy, with activities for smaller children to partake in too. The Gate in Stour Street is opened at 12:00 to permit access to chapel for service only during winter closure. The breakfast room floor is the best but the view of the market as you are eating or just pondering is fantastic.
