British based Chase Distillery are already well known of their award-winning vodka and have now bottled a fresh and zingy pomelo and pink grapefruit gin. This gin is crafted using a blend of carefully selected botanicals, including juniper, coriander, and angelica, combined with the bright flavours of pink grapefruit and pomelo. Able to create a zippy and zesty gin, the use of grapefruit on the elaboration of a gin will also give to this one a pinky on-trend colour. The balancing of sweet and warm spice notes is achieved by marrying together spring-crop Rhubarb and Oriental ginger.

The General Wine Company sources wines from all over the world, but with a particular focus on small, independent producers. The perfect pairing of pink grapefruit and pomelo produces a tantalising and zesty flavour profile when combined with the extra botanicals. It mixes well with tonic, but my favorite treat is with Fentiman’s Rose Lemonade and a big pink grapefruit wedge. Chase Pink Grapefruit and Pomelo Gin is crafted by copper pot distilling our gin with a bounty of pink grapefruit and pomelo peels. Definitely one to keep in the fridge next to a bottle of Fentimans rose lemonade and some lemon peel, but just as great with Fentimans pink grapefruit tonic and a sprig of rosemary.

The addition of nutmeg, almond, coriander and lemon helps to give this gin a full-bodied sweetness which is heightened by delightful citrus acidity.
